Hanoi Bride (SBS, 2005)Synopsis
Park Eun Wook (Lee Dong Wook) worked as a doctor in a clinic in Hanoi where he fell in love with a Vietnamese girl Ly Thi Vu( Kim Ok Bin). Due to the sudden death of his father, he had to return to Korea in a hurry but the message wasn't related to LTV. His elder brother Park Sok Woo(Lee Won Jong) who worked as a farmer in the field was hard pressed by his mother to go to Vietnam to find a wife and he ended up bringing LTV to Korea with the intention to marry her. Song Il Lan (Yoo Hye Jung) was PSW's childhood friend and she realized that she was in love with him and PSW had similar feeling for her too. When the misunderstanding between PEW and LTV got clarified and all truth were out in the open, his mother who thought LTV was going to be her first son's wife and liked her didn't think she was good enough for her second son as he was a doctor. LTV was hurt and returned to Hanoi. Later the mother came to realize her folly and relented. PEW didn't want to give up LTV and so he went back to work in Hanoi and search for LTV.

Synopsis : Soo-Jin, a young news reporter, takes a break from her job by indulging in one of the finest of Korean street vendor delicacies - the skewered fish sausage (odang). While talking on her cellphone and eating the skewered fish sausage, Soo-Jin is in for a rude awakening of sorts. A cop named Jae-Hyuk is frantically chasing a drug dealer on foot when he inadvertently crashes into Soo-Jin. The skewered fish sausage becomes lodged into Jae-Hyuk’s abdomen.
To make matters worse, Jae-Hyuk suffers from an acute fear of sharp pointed objects. He finds it difficult to even look at a fork or knife and was barely able to get into the police department because of his phobia. When Jae-Hyuk sees the fish sausage lodged into his abdomen he passes out immediately. Soo-Jin causes a minor storm by reporting this incident on her television show and on the Internet.
